Overview

My name is Isara.  I am a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.  I first received my call to help prepare the churches of the nations for the return of our saviour, Jesus Christ, 15 years ago. Throughout my ministry, I have also been called to evangelize, when not serving abroad.  This has included street and door to door evangelization.

Since first receiving my calling, I have brought letters to the churches with the message of preparation for Jesus’ return across five continents.

My Story

I am the son of a Clergyman, but I never anticipated I would be following my father’s footsteps and be called to serve Jesus Christ.

For many years I led a radical prayer life where I especially interceded on behalf of the nation and the lost souls, and this really transformed my life and relationship with the Most High. I first received my calling to serve Jesus Christ after years of seeking the Lord and desiring to serve him in my local community in any capacity the Lord wished.

When Jesus Christ called me, he gave me the passage Amos 3:7-8 and a new name: Isara, which means “God answers” or “God has spoken”.

Led by the Holy Spirit I began a street ministry in the city of Toronto in 2003 to bring the Good News throughout the Greater Toronto Area.  Not long afterwards, Jesus Christ called me to deliver a letter to the churches of the city of Toronto, urging the church to be awake, in his Holy Word and prepared for his return.  Then he asked me to travel across Canada, reaching out to the churches with Jesus Christ’s letter for his bride across Canada.

I travelled 11,000 kms over a period of about one year visiting churches across the nation of Canada, sharing the message about preparing for Jesus’ return and evangelizing in the cities. I did this, by faith, beginning in Vancouver, then travelling to Calgary, Regina, Winnipeg, Montreal, Fredericton, Charlottetown, Halifax and St. John’s.  By the end of the year I had faithfully delivered Jesus Christ’s letter to numerous churches across the country, and over 200 individuals from all walks of life came to make Jesus Christ their Lord and saviour; some were baptized and many more recommitted to their Christian faith.

Soon after completing this work, I was then called to go to Africa to do the same thing. And so, in 2005, I went to Sub-Saharan Africa and visited churches throughout Senegal, Mali, Chad, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Benin, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, and South Africa, over a period of one year.

Following the work in Africa, I was blessed to spend 2006 and 2007 in the Holy Land, learning the Hebrew language and spending time among the messianic churches of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.  This was a very special time for me.

Following this time abroad, the Lord asked me to go to the United States.  On my way to the US, I stopped in Ottawa, Canada to visit my family and I met Tamara, who would later become my wife.

In 2008 Tamara and I got married and began our family. When our son was a few months old, I received the call to go to South Asia and the Pacific, to once again bring the churches the message of preparation for Jesus’ return.  And so, in 2010, we packed up our family and followed this call, which brought us to India, Australia and New Zealand, over a period of a year. We then returned to Canada.

In 2015 the Lord revealed that I was to go to Europe to bring the message of preparation for his return to the churches there.  By this time, we had two children, a son and a daughter, and we packed up the family to follow the Lord’s call, heading first to France for a year (2016), then to Belgium, the UK and Ireland (2017).  After two years in Europe, meeting with the churches and sharing the message, we returned to Toronto and now Ottawa, Canada.

More recently, I have been called to work in the South Eastern part of Africa, where I am reaching out to the local the churches in Rwanda, Malawi, Zambia, the DRC, Tanzania, Uganda, Namibia, Kenya and Madagascar.

Despite the incredible challenges of this calling, I have met amazing brothers and sisters around the world and have been inspired by their faith, their walk, and their love for the Lord.  I look forward to continuing to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in this calling to prepare the churches of the nations for His glorious return.
